Our Youth Development Program (YDP) is a program designed to build confidence, offer consistent and intentional learning activities and experiences, mentoring and personal development workshops.

3P's Connect Youth Development Program is more than a program; it's transformational! We are changing the narrative, tearing down pre-fab structures that limit girls from being the leaders of tomorrow and right now!

Our program will educate, inspire, and empower girls to rise above barriers and limitations. The diverse programs we offer will address societal limits, provide resources and strategies, build confidence, design a skill sets that last a lifetime. Not only are our programs fun, but they are interactive and responsive.

Youth girls have a right to thrive on purpose, receive more than adequate resources, and receive boundless support. No girl should feel pressured to underperform in what she chooses as a pathway to build a successful life.

Why Is It Important?

Focused Programs for girls is important because many girls do not have access to adequate resources in education, healthcare, or mentorship. Studies have demonstrated that without intervention, girls face life altering outcomes such as depression and eating disorders.

Some girls don't get access to these necessary resources, and some reasons include lack of financial access for After-School Programs that address these needs. Other challenges include:
  • Limited availability of teachers, mentors, and professionals after school hours
  • Lack of access to support networks that build confidence and supportive relationships with peers
  • Fear that discussions about struggles will not be addressed in a safe space or confidentially
  • Fear of judgement from peers
  • Limited to zero opportunities to employ strategies and goals once established

Gender bias and stereotypes hinder girls from receiving encouragement to take on leadership roles and careers focused on tech and science related fields. It's important to address the shortage of mentors and sponsors for girls because the necessity of changing societal and cultural stereotypes contributes to stronger, more functional communities.

We have customized programs that can help identify underlying causes and provide strategies for building sustainable initiatives. We help schools, community centers, and churches create structured Youth Development Programs specifically aimed at girls, providing a clear pathway to positive experiences, resilience, and a growth mindset.
